    Default M260.001 (Czechoslovak motor wagon)

Made only one piece in 1938.

The test run of the unique railcar M 260.001 (ČKD Praha/závod automobilka Praga /bodywork/ No.: 1805/1938) nicknamed "Silver Arrow" on the Larg Test Ring of the Test Centre VUZ (Railway Research Institute) Velim. This railcar was after five-year restoring and commissioning work. The absolute emphasis was put on the preservation of the historic features which were mostly compared with photographic documentation from the production.

    Stunning!!

What a fantastic achievement to restore it to such a high standard.

Perhaps someone will do it. The Czechoslovak community talks about this for 15 years.

Lovely video: shows off all the hard work of restoration.
    Glossy paint, too!

What a beauty! That's not just a railcar, that's a moving piece of art!
