In my attempt to model 1985-1990 on my layout irl, I came across a nice deal on some AHM NJT e units. “Perfect!”, I thought. I plan to buy them, as they suit my time period. But what would I run them with? Certainly not the double level cars that run in modern times. I feel like the comet cars don’t suit them either. What is the proper, historically correct type of passenger car to run with them?
