Is there any way to navigate using just the mouse the way you can in Google Earth? I'm finding the combined keyboard+mouse method to be really clunky however I set it up and the GE style is so much better. It also doesn't help that if I use the mouse as the attitude control, the left/right mouse action is reversed compared to GE. For those not familiar with GE style navigation, the basics are:
- Click and hold with the middle button and move the mouse to rotate the view around the point clicked.
- Left click and drag to move the camera position (vs click to move in trainz).
- Mouse wheel or right click+drag to zoom.
I've been through the control settings but can't find any way to configure Trainz to behave the same way as GE navigation. I've got a dual screen system, so I have GE running on the second monitor when working in surveyer and it's doubly confusing having to switch between navigation styles, especially with the reversal of a key action.
