    Default Orchard

I am looking for a Apple orchard asset. I had one about 10 years ago as a spline asset. I looked on the Download Station. Any ideas? thanks funnnyfarm

    Cool

This is how I have made orchards like these...

So first you need to pick an asset, in this case a seasonal asset Apple Tree that in August will show Apples, in the spring shows the tree flowering, in the winter it is bare... Etc... This one for an Apple tree really works well.

Then place trees in a 4x4 grid as shown.

Rotate each tree so it does not look like the pattern repeats itself.

Make sure each tree on the outside edge is slightly inside the 4x4 grid, this is important.

Use the Copy Tool to select the 4x4 grid area.

Use the Paste Tool to paste the 4x4 grid are, repeat as many times as needed to make your orchard

Then use the Paint tool to add the Grass to your Orchard... Nice...

If it's not broke, don't fix it.
