I don't own TANE, thus the payware CIWL fleet is out of the question, but I did find some woodsided repaint's of Vendel's models on IBERTrainz that I can use to cover the older wooden carriages. Hopefully, a TS12-compatible version of the payware Orient Express will be released; according to the wiki, support for TS12 doesn't end until next year.
In 1935 the Orient Express had : 1 luggage car, 7 sleeping cars, 3 or 4 dining car with kitchen and 1 luggage car and was hauled by a 231E in France. Also, speaking of the real Orient Express, what was the typical length/numbers of cars in the train consist during the 30's, and how was it usually arranged; the position of the sleeping, dining, and pullman lounge carriages in the consist?
I can see the reason for multiple diners - a highly popular train, which means - more mouths to feed!:hehe:
Were there any Pullman lounges; cream and royal blue cars furnished with lavish sofas and arm chairs, used on the main Orient Express service?
Would Konni's G12 2-10-0 loco be a good substitute for the Austrian steamer that pulls the Orient Express in MSTS?
This is the DLS/CMP thumbnail used for the locomotive in question.
The German Mitropa Rheingold carriages by vasquez are superb...for their age! They were made for V2.0!
Detailed interiors with many camera views. If only somebody would update them for tane. The sa4uk is broken and has errors.
