So no. We do not, cannot give N3V "a break". We must always demand the highest quality products from our developers. Always keep them on their toes, working to the best of their abilities. We do that with every other company we buy products from, it should be no different with N3V.

There are ways of requesting better quality and that is by respectfully asking/requesting, giving constructive criticism and discussing with people concerned. "Demanding" you may think is your right, but if you said that to me I would tell you to "Naf" off, and that is saying it lady-like. Yes, you are the customer, but respect is a two way thing. You be respectful to whom you are talking to and the other person/s will normally be respectful back.
IMHO "moaning" won't bring a business down; it's if we stop "moaning" they'll go down.
If you keep "moaning" it may not bring a business down, but the business may also remove the product from their "production" line and carry on with something else. Which would mean in this case, we may not see another trainz version on our pc's. Would you want to be responsible for this? Would your conscience be quite happy in knowing because of the moaning, complaining, whinging that people who get a huge amount of enjoyment from trainz in their own way will no longer have this with future trainz versions?
No one is perfect, not you, not me, no one is. Software is not prefect. Fix one thing and something else may break. This may not be picked up until the software is tested on multiple machines by users. It pays to think outside the box a little bit, before "demanding", or throwing the toys around.
