Dudley to Jamaica (Jamaica Plain) and Forest Hills.
https://youtu.be/bBxTlh46o2Q - Line closed in the 1950s early 1960s as it was bustituted.

The Cleveland Circle/Heath Street to Forest Hills line survived to the early 1980s when it was mothballed due to a cost cutting move. This remained mothballed until the 2000s when it was recommended to rebuild the line, however, the NIMBYs came out and fought the rebuild so the line was scrapped.

And finally: Revere, East Boston, Chelsea, and Everett.

https://youtu.be/QTBJIMue138 - Line was closed to East Boston and Revere in mid-1950s when Blue Line subway was built.

The Blue Line is part above ground with catenary due to saltwater ruining the third-rail. The line is built partly on the former Boston Revere Beach, and Lynn Narrow Gauge ROW. The Chelsea and Everett lines were casualties of the cut.

These were really, really cool operations. We sure miss a lot today.
