Disable auto switch/junction placement TS12

How do you disable the auto placement of Junctions in Trainz 2012? It gets really annoying when your trying to do a yard and or multi track mainline without the track snapping together to make a junction where its not wanted! The only option I found is the auto leaver placement which is no help.

Hold down the Shift key as you place or move the spline. The new spline point will not connect to any existing track.
