@JCitron, I gave that a try and nothing happens... I'm just trying to do switches so they don't lock in place and I can still change the direction freely no matter how close I get to them...
Thats exactly what I tried and it doesn't work... I set the switch's trigger to 5.00 and it still locks even when Im more than a 1/4th of a mile away from the switch...
Im just testing a route I'm working on so Im only using 1 train, but it seems to unlock if I bring the train to a full stop at the switch.
This "feature" appeared when Multiplay was implemented. Before that, junctions did not lock with approaching consists. I find it very annoying, and I wish it would be taken out, or at least give us an option to have it or not. Really, people have complained of other subtle things, and basic ones such as this one, continue to bother us. At the time, there were many posts about this, but it has died into oblivion. Do we have to make noise again about this?[/QUOTE
More than likely.
I've cracked the code on this. It'll take time and effort, as well as the Turnout L and Y stubs.
Can't have locked junctions if the came doesn't recognize that there are junctions on the layout.
