How do i Delete a Forum Post?

sorry this was the only support area i could find fast. I made a mistake on posting and did a duplicate but cannot find how to delete one of my own posts? please help. the button at Edit says Edit/Delete but does not offer any button or function to DELETE WITH. thanks

Afraid us mere mortals can't delete posts.
Just edit the post to read posted in error.

If you want it merged or actually deleted your best bet is to report the post in question and mention that that is what you want to be done with the post - one of the moderators can then sort it.

No worries - be aware though that it's best to only use that for posts duplicated/made in error (wrong forum etc) or problem posts to avoid any issues.

Even us moderators can't really delete it. We can move it to a hidden "garbage can" section or (in case of a double post) merge it.
We got your report. I'll take a look.
