KUDOS and thank you to Scratchy. Coal Country route is awesome!

It would save bandwidth by only downloading what's needed rather than all. For the most part, what works in T:ANE also works in TRS19. This can be done by creating a pull-down menu with branches if applicable for the different versions.

It means some extra coding, and in some cases extra storage space to ensure that both versions are hosted.

I thought of that too, but I was posting this idea as a quick low effort fix since the way Scratchy put his post, JR hasn't done much to distribute the new version.

Hi all, for those who have purchased through the JR website and own TS19, a new download link for the revised route will be in your account download area free of charge. Enjoy and be sure to post your pictures!

Great news scratchy. I hope this means the N3V version will also be available soon. I have some buyers remorse with the N3V version but the sale price was right. Their payware policies for this route are however an insult IMHO.

Moving on I replaced all the trees and removed most the grass splines on my N3V version and the look is significantly better in TRS19. Back dating to late steam era is still on the list tbd.

Looking forward to seeing what the update looks like.

Great little route, thanks. One of the few routes I've ever actually run sessions on. Think K&L's PRR Decapod Coal Load. :cool: Thanks for that one too.
Let the Hippos roam.

[EDIT] PS. It's fall here in New Jersey and in the Appalachians. I couldn't resist.

FYI I had to go KUID searching for one item: <kuid2:132952:100578:1>, SAM Track Stack - II/B, which downloads as a .rar file.

Finally something worthwhile, thanks scratchy :).

Remember to set the TRS19 Shader quality to standard, not ultra.

I just purchased the Coal Country route during the 48 hour sale. Haven't played it much yet. I'm a bit put off by the grass splines and billboard trees. I take it there is no way to edit these things since it is payware? I tried doing the clone session thing and just can't get it to go.

Thanks,
Randall

I'd like to see some six-axle RPPX diesels, such as high-hood SD7's or SD9's. I've also added a second crossover and necessary signaling at the north end of the yard at Richmond so that trains going from the mainline to branchline don't have to go thru the yard to get to the branchline. I'm also working on lowering the ground underneath the roads in Richmond in several places as the PBR ground textures are 'covering up' part of the roads in Richmond.

TANE will allow you to create and edit sessions but not the underlying route.
TRS19 will allow you to edit the route (and share with anyone who owns the payware route).

Looks excellent! Yes i agree it looks better on high but I understood most people wouldn't be keen to switch.

Randall, you must have bought from the N3V store you'll have to wait for the TS19 version.

If you have the JR version. Disable the version in TANE which was made unavailable by TANE. It is the N3V version and was switched to:

<kuid2:92924:100080:1> Coal Country

Load the JR version which TANE will say is obsolete.

<kuid:92924:100080> Coal Country - JointedRail.com

Clone that version.

Unlock the layers.

<kuid2:35412:28012:1> hole punch • Payware, from "Sebino Lake, Italy"
<kuid:661281:85193> PBR Gravel 4 - Seasonal • Built-in, from "Cornish Mainline and Branches"
<kuid2:328583:20269:1> JVC#(Gr2) Wildflowers MIX B • Built-in, from "Niddertalbahn" and "Cornish Mainline and Branches"

Does anyone know how to remove the Trainz store version so I can install the Jointed Rail version with the 2019 update ? For some reason even though the Trainz DLC version is not built in, it does not offer a delete route button so I guess it is considered "built in" even though it is not and I can't locate the package because I do not know folder it would named under.

Sad you have to jump through hoops just to install a different version.

Any help appreciated. This is issue resolved next one is missing items:

<kuid2:211025:21006:4>
<kuid:103475:37018>
<kuid:103475:37017>

<kuid:453099:101165>
<kuid2:45324:39200:1>

Any help appreciated

N3V have said they will do it the same way for users that have bought through them. It'll just take more time to be implemented.

You're missing deps are included in built in routes for me, so sending them wouldn't work as they come up as faulty :/ You'll just have to download the extra content packs

<kuid2:45324:39200:1> JR PRR Signal Bridge 1 • Payware, from "C&O Hinton Division"
<kuid:103475:37018> VR Stockyard Cattle Fence • Payware, from "Healesville - 1913-1920"
<kuid:103475:37017> VR Stockyard Sheep Fence • Payware, from "Healesville - 1913-1920"
<kuid2:565830:100005:1> Stone Group 2 • Built-in, from "Kickstarter County"
<kuid:453099:101165> Miners House - 04 • Payware, from "C&O Hinton Division" and "Cornish Mainline and Branches (TRS19)"
<kuid2:211025:21006:4> st_rmm_kust19_106_2m • Built-in, from "Japan - Model Trainz", "Canadian Rocky Mountains - Golden, BC", "Canadian Rocky Mountains - Columbia River Basin" and "Cornish Mainline and Branches (TRS19)"

Some routes are imported from T:ANE.

Does anyone know how to remove the Trainz store version so I can install the Jointed Rail version with the 2019 update ?

This version is <kuid2:92924:100080:3> and it obsoletes the built-in one which is <kuid2:92924:100080:1>. Just import it.
