Passing Easter regards

Always a special time of year for me but legions of others too.

Was speaking to my niece on the telephone and who used to live here in Glasgow when younger and would love to be back as she is in the rurals of Fife! On the telephone she mentioned that her children would be painting boiled eggs and something I thought had passed from when I was a boy when we would do that and then roll them down a hill. After that age thing I well moved on to trains....!

Although too commercialised now it still has meaning for many including me.

I'll be celebrating with the family as usual. I may also pop down to the Bluebell Railway as the Flying Scotsman is in town

Each year at Easter I send locally made chocolate goodies to my friend in north Germany, he sends me locally made German goodies. yummmmmmmmm
Same for birthdays and Christmas.
Parcel can reach him quicker than a parcel to London, but that's another topic.

Great hobby is Trainz, you can eat chocolate whilst playing it

When Uncle Mortimer was finally let out of prison, we all took turns sitting on his lap, ate Marshmallow peeps, jelly beans, had the sacrificial hollow chocolate Easter Bunny, and rolled brightly colored Easter eggs downhill ... for Christ's sake
