Something to look at over the weekend

Hi all,

I'm still waiting on all the NDAs to come back, and also for the necessary installers to pass testing.

However, in the meantime, feel free to take a look through our work-in-progress API:

http://dl1.n3vgames.com/misc/TNISample_Oct_10.zip

To be clear, this ISN'T usable with public versions of Trainz; I'm sharing this with you so that you can get a head-start on project configuration, reading through the available headers (which hopefully are all nicely commented), etc.

There's also an accompany document which is intended to get you up to speed with this sample. Again, you won't be able to follow these steps entirely with the public build, so this is for your reading only. Please don't share this link outside this group at the current stage as everything is very much a draft and subject to revision.

Regarding NDAs (or lack thereof in some cases) - none of the information currently contained in this two links is covered by your NDA. Feel free to discuss this with your friends. Please do not pass on the links to other people, and do not redistribute the files downloaded from these links. They will be publicly distributed once they are finalised, but we'd prefer not to confuse people by releasing them in their current work-in-progress state.

Post on this forum with any questions, errata or concerns with what you read in these links.

Just a quick note to the N3V team about the sample plug-in...

Nothing serious, but there seems to be a little bit of left-over naming in the TNISample.h file.

The comments are for TNIHID.h, the header guard uses _TNIHID_H_ and the last line references _TNISPEDTREE_H_.

None of these is problematic, just curious. :)
