AssetCleaner.zip

From memory it was for removing duplicate information from the assets.sql database file in TS12. I used to have a copy of it but not sure if I still do.

However, If you know another method - I can always try it out.

Hello Keith,

Thank you for your information. Are you using this asset-cleaner from this site http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/asset-cleaner?

The assetcleaner.zip package which was available on this website https://passingtrains.wordpress.com/...up-assets-sql/ went into the assets.sql ( DB ) and removed duplicate records and also did a compact of the database

Best regards

I have it Kurt if you need it I can email it to you. PM me your email address.

This will not clean up assets; the name is a misnomer and this is strictly a TS12 assets.tdx database clean up utility. What this means is it re-indexes and removes duplicate pointers, and empty records from the database file.

TRS2004 does not have a database, or one that works in the same fashion as the assets.tdx file was introduced in TRS2006.
