I had a 770gtx, but it died. was hoping it would last a few weeks. The 1050ti is so I can get some graphics work projects done and sent since they are on a deadline. It was in stock locally, so it worked, pretty sure it will find its way over to dad's house so he can improve his Trainz experience. We are heading to visit some friends over the holidays and they live about 5 mins from a microcenter, so it will be play time then.
Since space is a tight fit in the m-itx case, researching which route I will go, more than likely, I will taking the 1070ti from my sim racing pc and putting that into this and then getting a 1080ti for the sim racing pc. The sim pc is pretty close to the same spec except for the 8086 CPU and Asus hero x mobo. Thought about moving the sim pc to a 2070/2080 series GPU, but after some of the other racers reviews on it, I doubt I will head that direction.
WD is usb 3, keep a backup copy of graphics work on it.
The PNY SDD is where I keep Trainz, basically on its own drive.
