Good Day all,

There is an old saying, "you don't know, what you don't know" in this situation, we had been on gone for about several days on our Road Trip to meet with Family members. After returning back we found some of plants didn't survive the heat wave California had for week. Further inspection of our Sprinkler System revealed a broken Sprinkler pipe close to our Electrical line Pole, so that was it, I figured either the Giant Bird of Paradise Flowers, 20-25 feet tall, Roots probably cracked the Pipe. Further inspection revealed something that I totally unexpected, Edison Crews had recently inspected our Power Pole and determined a new Copper Ground Wire needed to be installed for Lightening and or any other Electrical discharge to Earth Ground. Well, that was fine, but whomever did the work, poked a small hole in the Water pipe, probably using a Pick.....And the nice Bird of Paradise Flowers Root System did the rest.

My water bill had been a little high, and didn't see anything leaking, however, where the Pipe was broken is behind the Paradise and hug Seco Plants, no wonder they look so green and healthy........An area where we rarely walk at the extreme back corner of our Back yard......

Now over to Trainz, I downloaded a little program to show how my files are using disk space in %'s, and this is what helped me find out I had so many backups in Trainz and some other duplicate files too.........Now my disk space is 425 Gigs out of 930 Gigs.

Now in fairness, I also took some Directory's and put them in the Cloud, using Microsoft's One Drive.

HDGraph (http://www.hdgraph.com) & other program, Duplicate Files Finder by Matthias Boehm 2008

There are many Duplicate File Finder Programs out there, no one fits all sizes, and you need to read the reviews and comments to figure out if it is proper fit for your needs...

I think all of us know this, we add programs, download this and that off the internet frequently, and before we know it, our what was an empty drive, quickly fills up.......Especially with Trainz Assets.......That is just the way it is..........

Whenever someone says, what size Hard Drive should I upgrade or replace with, the best, logical suggestion offered here, the largest one you can afford, time and time again, we come up short on Hard Drive Space for whatever reason, especially if we keep our computers for more than a year or two, that is just life..........

Today Picks will be more from our Road Trip........Saw a lot of Trains and other cool things while Driving Route 66 too.

SP Caboose anyone......Couldn't believe my eyes when we came across this beauty.....

And here is the sign to tell you where this beauty is residing........

Middle of the day, and we were headed to El Paso

Can't get much better than this, I was tempted to climb up the ladder Steps.

Other than this little bit of Paint peeling, this Caboose is in really good shape.....

Just take a look at the coupler, little bit of Rust on it, everything else painted up........This Caboose saw a bit of work I think, probably didn't even look this great...........I know, I know, the cardinal rule, the Dirtier, Grimmer the better......

Night all........

Wind Damage/Pev's Tools/Texas Trip Pics/ Blues YouTube Pics

Good Day all,

We had some very bad winds this week: https://abc7.com/tag/wind-damage/

Cleanup underway after high winds cause damage across SoCal
Though the winds that whipped through Southern California mostly died down by Tuesday morning, efforts were underway to clean up the damage and mess left behind by the gusts.

https://abc7.com/high-wind-warning-weather-speed-today-forecast/11112543/

https://abc7.com/fontana-winds-socal-windy-in-15-freeway-big-rigs/10370040/

My Huge Bird of Paradise Plants 30' tall took a beating, so Blue had to do some emergency surgery and remove some badly broken and twisted leaves, before it affected the healthy parts. Fortunately for us, we didn't have any 80-90 tall dead trees fall on our cars like some folks in surrounding areas. I'm sure this will not be the last of our high winds. Because of problem with radical High Pressure gradients coming into cool weather, and the mountainous area surrounding us, it is perfect setup for severe wind patterns to emanate in our area.

Now what I need to due is our other tree's trimmed up before more high winds return.

Over to Trainz, like with any new installation on another Computer, you know what happens, Missing/Faulty Assets etc, Problems with Payware. With the experience I have gained over the years. First thing was to assess what I needed as priority.

PEV's Tools came to mind, what also popped was? Of course, how old are some of these problem Assets, in my case some Version 1. & 2. & so on, well sadly now that we are headed to Version 4.9 with Version 5.0 probably in not such a distant future. I need to make some painful decisions.

I'm sure you have those favorite Assets on some older, even newer Routes. Recourse, delete, rebuild mesh, and a host of other ways. End result, is it worth saving, or is just better to let it go, only you can make that tough decision.

Today got my PEV's Tools installed correctly, not in the Win Apps Folder, but in C:\PEV

"C:\PEVSoft\AssetX\AssetX.exe" and it so far is working perfectly. I was able to fix easily, missing txt Files, and other things. Additionally, my problems with missing Payware Assets, I did the "disable" command. Which removed these problem Items.

Now instead of 240 messed up/ missing Assets, I have just 17 more to get through. All is better for Blue, in case I didn't mention it, this has to due with Travel Micro Mini Laptop 12.5 inches.

Fort Hood Military Museum we went to see. One of our Family is a Vet and took us here to see the exhibit.

These are things I have only seen in some movies.

Just looking at the Winch setup will tell one, what type of Terrain these vehicles had to go through......

95 Year Old Train Tracks & 3 Abandoned Spurs at Railroad Crossing

https://youtu.be/7163gOZyEgE

In 1926 Seaboard Air Line Railroad built these train tracks to Miami and eventually Homestead, Florida. At one point, they even connected to the FEC Overseas Railway en route to the Florida Keys and eventually Key West. During the 1970s Sunshine Industrial Park was buzzing with rail activity and it just so happened that at the same time I-95 was being built South toward Miami. This industry spur was a victim of progress because it was located right in the way of where one of the highway columns was supposed to be located. Needless to say the traffic engineers didn't care about the tracks and just placed right smack in the middle of it. They severed it and immediately it became abandoned never to be used again. The railroad crossing here only has cross bucks and I'm pretty sure it never sports crossing gates or signals and much less a cantilever because it was lightly used. Eventually SAL became SCL Seaboard Coast Line then Seaboard System and finally CSX in 1986 which it still is to this day. Nowadays, the main line is used by tri rail Amtrak and CSX.

Tiny Track Mobile Pulls Heavy Rock Train Across Busy Railroad Crossing! Industrial Railway Switching

https://youtu.be/3cMjCf-BxWo

Loaded rock train pulled across a highway railroad crossing by a tiny 2 axle rail car mover! Awesome industrial railroad switching at its best! This is on a short line railroad in Ohio called the Indiana & Ohio Railway. There is a railroad yard on one side of the railway crossing for rock trains and a small railroad yard on the other side for grain trains. The tiny Titan Track Mobile moves cars for both yards. On October 11, 2021, the track mobile came across the road to pull a 15 car cut of loaded gravel cars from one track to another track. Watch as the "train" is pulled across the crossing, the crew member switches the track and then the train is shoved back across onto another track. Cars are being loaded with rock here to make up a heavy train for the I&O Railroad. The line was originally Baltimore & Ohio Railroad, then Chessie System, the CSX and now I&O. Right next to the B&O line here was another railroad line called the Pennsylvania Railroad.

WIDE LOAD - Train Caught by Detector on the Port Road!

https://youtu.be/lG1XZvfhfZo

The unexpected happened when I chased a train down Norfolk Southern's Port Road Branch, which until recently rarely saw trains during the day. A defect detector announced a "wide load" on a car so the train stops to let the conductor off to do a roll-by inspection. What they found may have been less than amusing, but it was the first time I saw one of these in action up close.

I continue to chase the train to the Amtrak Northeast Corridor, which is dominated by dozens of high speed passenger trains, so seeing a long freight train under the wires was certainly a treat!

Good Saturday Morning all,

Well it has been a fast paced week for Blue; Windows 11 showed up for a upgrade on my little Lenovo S540, and I took the plunge, figured it was better to go with the flow on little computer, since it is brand new, and my 17" Asus Laptop which is coming up on 3 yrs old, or as they used to say, 3 yrs is considered a Dinosaur, with today's fast moving technology at near warp speed, it is hard to keep up, as well, not everything is a marriage made in heaven either. Software with not always get along and play nice, we all know this.....

So I let Window's 11 upgrade, there are some changes, so you'll best be served by reading up on this link
and take a read on the changes, objections etc...

https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=Win+11+changes

My 1st one straight out, I have put a hack into the Registry too allow my changing the Taskbar from the bottom to Left side of my window, why you ask, well my screen is wider than taller, so it more comfortable to have it that way for me.

What I do see, it seems like my programs pop open faster, this is with Trainz, too, it seems like things move along more quickly. So far I had only one CTD in Trainz, but I think because I was using an old Route File, it caused some minor problems when I used the Delete Missing Assets, that was a one time event......No other issues with Trainz to Note.

Today's Pics from our Trip through Waco and Central Texas areas.

WACO Texas, U.P.R.R. tracks coming thru town.

Looked like a new Spur line or an upgrade as we passed by on the Freeway.

Sunset in Texas

I had all of minute to snap a quick pic of this beautiful bird eating @ 5:00AM in the morning, after I snapped the Photo he got spooked and hit the air with some very large wings....Amazing to see him fly so gracefully......

This tree would look nice on one my Routes, I have no idea what it is....

Bambi is doing well.

The day before we saw this Smoke Plume, I thought it was just some farmer burning some old tree cuttings, what we didn't know till the next day, this was Forest Fire on the other side of Dana Peak, where we were staying. On the next day, another Fire popped up from heat and dry brush about 200-300 feet away from our campsite, home on the other side of Campground almost burned down......Fortunately the Fire departments were able to put the Fire out, after consuming 75 acres, and about 1100PM at night we went in and got all our Camping Gear and Trailer out of there. As the Fire hot spots were starting to flair up again.....The next day or 2 days later, a good rain storm came in and dampened out all the remaining hot spots.......It was a close call......We were lucky.......

Further west, the Wyoming Colorado operated streamlined FP7A engines from the glory days of railroading. Rebuilt GP40M-2 units served the Southern Pacific on local freights up and down the since shuttered Tennessee Pass Route. On the Denver to Pueblo Colorado Joint Line, Rio Grande and Santa Fe GP30 diesels served local customers. The Santa Fe also operated B23-7 and GP39-2 units in local service. Alco built C420 diesels operated on the Arkansas & Missouri. Finally, Union Pacific's famous Northern-class steam locomotive, no. 844, pulled a short train of freight cars east from Cheyenne, Wyoming, on August 21st, 1996.

Some folks call them woolly bears, some call them woolly worms,

Folk tradition says they are one way of predicting how mild or severe
winter temperatures are going to be. The longer the black bands on either end of them suggests the longer and colder the winter will be. He actually got run over by the hi rail truck and
not a train. Hope you enjoyed the humorous little clip today.

Montana Rail Link SD45 Renaissance Vol. 1, The East End - FULL VIDEO (2016)

https://youtu.be/reRpteUo1D0

53,023 views Sep 30, 2021 In this 2016 full-length C. Vision release, we cover the east end of Montana Rail Link's system between Jones Junction and Helena, Montana. The 1st and 2nd Subdivisions were brimming with activity during our visits, and you'll see an incredible variety of trains and locomotives across this territory. In addition to the mainline, the 5th, 6th, and 13th Subdivision branch lines are also covered. Local and mixed freights, grain, coal, ballast, and even MRL passenger trains are all included in this two-hour presentation.

MRL's fleet of SD45 locomotives are seen in BNSF lease service, as well as working MRL's own freight trains. The sights and sounds of these 3600 horsepower locomotives powering heavy trains over Bozeman Pass and Winston Hill will be something you won't soon forget. We have also included some behind the scenes views of several SD45s being scrapped in Livingston by Progress Rail in May of 2014.

Additional MRL locomotive models seen in this video include: SW1500, GP9, GP35, GP40, SD35, SDP40, SD40-2, SD40-2XR, and SD70ACe.

RUNAWAY TANK CAR!!! Real Runaway Train in Bethlehem, PA!

https://youtu.be/Qryq3nYa0o8

This is one of the craziest things I have ever witnessed, a runaway train! The tank car somehow got into the Reading line and kept rolling all the way through the Lehigh valley until it eventually came to a stop in Richards, about 15 miles east of where it started. The car was six to have reached speeds of up to 50MPH! It was loaded with Paraffin Wax, and luckily no one was hurt.

In closing, California is getting one good old fashioned Rain Storm, that should last about 2 days, we should get some local Flooding, but in our demise of extreme Drought, this is one small price to pay for the greater good. I think it will be welcomed.

Thanks for dropping by..........

Back in California by weekend.

Thanks very much for link will watch for sure.

Been riding Trains n Trams everywhere. ..Beautiful Country n People for sure.

Network is spotty in some places....Take care.

Amsterdam Trip Pic/ You Tube Selections /

Good Monday all,

Just returned from our 11 Day Trip to Amsterdam, Netherlands over the Weekend. Took several pictures of different items and places. Hope you enjoy..Our Plane Trip over and back was with KLM, Royal Dutch Airlines, and it was terrific. A little bit of Air Turbulence,,which is expected. Fortunately, no bad Storms along the way.

We had left about about 2PM PST time from California, our flight goes from LAX, Los Angeles international Airport, we fly over Canada, Greenland, then into Europe, finally landing the Next morning about around 8:00AM to a beautiful Sunny day.

Here we are on our way riding the Trains to our Air B&B in Amsterdam. Look at the Sun Location, and the Sun does not get much higher in the Sky in this Latitude. Temp is about 45 Degrees. We were in 80 Degrees California, a little Nippy, but the air is clean. Take a look at the Tall Sky Scraper here notice how it is not straight sided on one edge.....

Looking at from Rail Station here, Sky Scrapers have some futuristic Shapes.

Sun is quite Bright hear, but if you look carefully this Building is overhanging Walls jutting out one edge.....Interesting Architecture

This is a view from the main city area, we just Rode this Tram and Construction Crews have the Street all torn up doing improvements for Tram Rails etc. They work 24 hours, M-F, Weekends off. Only thing is, our walk from Tram was twice the distance as we had to get around all the Construction Boards put in place along the Sidewalks. Now imagine this, Netherlands has lots, I mean a lot, of Folks riding their Bicycles to School, Work, etc, Rain or Shine, so Pedestrians and Bicyclists are walking thru the narrow Sidewalks each way with Bicycles.

Blue and Family had a fun time riding these cool Trams, our longest wait time was maybe 20 mins, most times, it was 10-15 mins during peak times, approx. Trains were quick, clean and Dutch people are very polite.

It's 2:00AM in the morning, and these Workers are hard at work, doing Utilities, and Asphalt improvements, we were told this and other areas is a huge Construction Project, they should finish if all goes well about Dec 18th, just a few days before Xmas!

Even cooler yet, there are Brick lined Sidewalks and some Streets, what they do is pull up the Bricks, which sit on about 1 Foot too 1.5 Sand Bed, and make improvements, then put Sand and Bricks, Pavers etc back in place. You'd never know the Road and or Sidewalks had been taken apart....Asphalt of course is Ground down to dirt with huge Rotary Grinders and then re Asphalted as needed.

What is keen interest here, look at the Traffic Signals, they use same signals for Railroad Trams for Traffic Signal lighting. What a novel idea.

It's next morning now, We are looking out from small Back Yard view, you can see how the high Density Buildings are all together here. Our first 3 days are nice, but we have Rainy Days coming for whole week ahead.....

It's another day, Sun is out, about 40 Degrees now, as I have a cup of good Coffee, I watch with interest on what they are working on. They have run new Electrical Cables and Signal Communication Lines etc. I really enjoy watching Construction and learning how things are repaired, replaced. It is one good education that has served me well, in doing upgrades and repairs to our House. You watch the Pro's and learn from them.

Netherlands has all 4 Seasons, unlike California, that seems to miss Fall, and go to Winter, this Flower is not doing too bad, considering the Temps will dip down into low 30 Degree weather on some nights.

This is looking out into the Garden, BBQ area from our Air B&B house. Unfortunately everything was wet and soaked from the previous several days of Rain, prior our arrival, but that is OK, they're are so many little Restaurants literately around the Corner, and Great little Quaint Bars. Takes just mins to walk there, of course, you want to have Umbrella, or Rain Jacket, etc.

It's 9:00 AM and we are headed out to meet one of our Trams, lots of places, Museums to go see.

The Most Unexciting Train Derailment You'll See

https://youtu.be/ABP-ozDqy2o

I set out for an afternoon of chasing the ND&W's former Santa Fe GP20s. We got to Defiance a little later than I had planned due to Class 1 interference and ended up having to go towards Napoleon to catch up with them. We spotted a handful of boxcars sitting in a random location and thought the day was going to be a bust until we spotted the single engine walking east with 2 cars. He didn't make it far as the rail spread and both boxcars dropped wheels to the ties. Didn't take much to figure out that the handful of boxcars further west were the result of them going on the ground earlier and cutting away what was still on the rail.

All Right Folks, that's a RAP for tonight, Blue and Mr's Blue are going thru that nice Jet Lag, Amsterdam had there time change last Week, and this Week, We had our Fall Behind time Change, so that couple with 2 time Changes, we are waking up at different times. Think it going to take a few more days to get that Circadian Rhythms back in order......So far no Covid issues, we are awaiting our Results from today's test, in about 2-3 days. Feel fine. So hopefully we pass with flying colors.

Have a great week, and in my next message, I'll share what I didn't take on our Trip, and what went wrong....Just those little Details that one misses.....LOL

Stay Safe, and Stay Healthy.........

Amsterdam Trip Pic II/ You Tube Selections

Good Evening all,

Well we are Slowly getting over our Jet Lag, now just waking up at 3 or 4AM in the morning, hopefully in another few Days, will get to 7AM which is about the norm for us to awake......

Tonight here are some more Pics from Amsterdam Trip:

Architecturally the Netherlands has some very interesting looking Buildings.

I would never thought I would see this type of Building, But they made it, and I'm sure people look twice to believe what they're are seeing! I couldn't be up in this type building, I'm sure it is safe, but I would feel strange looking out these side windows, like looking out a Ledge high above the ground.

Passing buy on our way to Utrecht, we see several maintenance and Storage Yards. Sorry the pictures are not a bit better, we probably doing 50-75MPH.

We road a lot of different trains daily to Tour Amsterdam and surrounding areas......There are Local, and Express Trains, Trams on City streets, depending on where your going.

Lots of Rail and Snap Track Sections are stored and ready to go for whatever Construction, Maintenance Jobs. We saw several sections of Track under Repair.

You all know how found I am of Cabooses, well, I had mure second to shoot this Photo as we passed by, I really don't know how I caught this one......

Ready to go Train sets stand ready for Service, over to the left is Yellow MOW Vehicle.

Way in the back is some type of Modified Loco for MOW.

After download completed, I did a DBR, which took maybe 5 mins, excellent for Trainz......His Route and attention to details is outstanding! It looks as real as you can imagine........Thank you Dan.....

Picture here is amount of Assets shown for download.

More Pictures from our Texas trip.

These old Time Tracks are from the an very old Railroad, that passed thru the city. Pretty Cool they kept these Tracks from long, long ago.....

I used to enjoy drinking Dr Pepper, and here is the original Plant in WACO, we went thru Museum Tour and had a grand time. Lots of fun amazing how they bottled and made this tasty Soda.

For those Old Brick building enthusiast, these are the original Bricks showing inside part of the Building, take a good look at how these particular Bricks and the time period they were laid in, I'm thinking late 1800's ?

https://wacoheartoftexas.com/shopping/about-magnolia-about-chip-joanna-gaines/

Unfortunately we came to WACO on Sunday, and the Gaines Store was closed, so we could only see the Silos and surrounding Buildings. It's been a while since I have seen their Demo Day Shows, it's a kick and a half.

U.P.R.R. Branch Line, I believe, don't think it was mainline. Didn't see any trains passing thru in the 4 hours we were touring the Museums and such.

That'll do for tonight, thanks for stopping by.

I to see how different Harbor Routes were made to and play/merge with....

1000mm size was some Routes I came across as I did a 1000mm Keyword search in my Content Manager on DLS, what catches my Eye when I see different Threads on Forum, are the pictures of how the Author's/ Route Creates have laid out certain things in Route building.....

Again, one of the strongest tools if you will, in your Arsenal, a great Resource, is Content Manager and the way you use Searches, with Keywords especially, "AND, OR, NOT, in or without conjunction of CATEGORY, as well, I save several of the individual AUTHORS name in a list such "-Togog" using the Author's name, make sure you add symbol - with first letter of name Capitalized........This keep alll the Author's name separate from all your other items.....

That would probably allow another second roster above or below this list? I have to play with that.....

I know you can do a naming convention in Surveyor of say, Train sets, or Signals, Switches etc by using similar symbols too......

Most of my experiences recently have been with "N" gauge railways in tighter quarters. It is great to see there are still some places with room for larger scales. Thanks for the pics blue!

You made my day Sir, we spent several hours in the Wind Mill Museum, and I was snapping Pics like crazy, since I didn't know if I would get them to come out OK with Glass reflections and lighting....Plus this place is only 1439 miles away from my house in So California.......

Also I am a fan of Windmills and Lighthouses, I think they quite unique, and over time they are disappearing as I age. So when I can find a place like this, I just have a bang up time, besides it very interesting to visit with couple who did a lot of hard labor for many years, trying to make this Museum a fun family place to visit, and interesting to Art enthusiasts to see how some of Murals came out that are 35 feet tall, by I don't know how wide.

Good morning from France, mister Blue.
It seems that the link in your signature,

does not works.
But I have found (google is my friend) that thread.
Wow. huge work ! ! ! I like how you precisely put the tracks and the levers.
To answer to your question about the read lines in Moscow, it seems to be attachment points for the high intensity electric wires : you can find them also for the high voltage power lines, in Ural mountains route.

Good Sunday all,

Looks like Xmas is edging closer by the Day, and Soon it will be New Years, 2022, can you believe that? Very busy time for all.....Hope everyone is getting along OK, and those with Covid recover soon with Prayers from Blue and Family.

Tonight's Pics will partly be from the Lone Pine Route, Content Manager things to personalize (for Newbie's).

And a few Y Tube Pics for the week.

I have a Route here, sorry I don't recall the name at the minute, it has a missing Asset here, which is OK, but I am trying to figure out what they Pipes are? Haven't seen them before, if any of you Folks might have an Idea, I would welcome your suggestions.....Some kind of Chemical Plant? And these Pipes where added. If I can find what the name of this Route is, I'll post an addendum here......

Our Trains are staged and loaded ready to Roll, SP will take the lead and ATSF will follow shortly, both using Lone Pine Route, but distributing to different Locations thru the evening.

It's a beautiful Summer evening as we head north to Lone Pine with lots of Loaded cars.

I like these customer illuminated Bill Board Signs as we drive by...

SP all the way, I used to see the Cabooses growing up along several of their Lines.......

Crossing under one of the Freeways, I think it was the 99Fwy?

Coming thru the Mojave Desert, and temps are still 95 Degrees, clear hot breeze blowing along the Hot Desert Sands, no Hot Coffee tonight, it,s Cool Drinks, our Locomotives don't have Air Conditioning, so we are quite warm inside.

For the New Folks in our Forum, I thought I would show you one of things, I learned while fooling around with Content Manager? Over time, you find Certain Authors who make Assets for us, and that from time to time, they announce their new or Changed Assets. What I do, is with groups of them, I add them individually to my "Author Search Function", and hit the Save Key after looking up their Names for Asset Downloads.....Only thing you need to do, is make sure first letter of their name is Capitalized and put a Hyphen "-" in front of their name, or another symbol, that way it keeps your list of Authors in the upper part of your Content Manager list.......

Remember too, you can also open your Search function and add different things for each Author. Could be you want to add a Minimum Version delimiter? I use 3.5 or in some cases, when I get picky, I will use 4.0 for mainly the newer Version Items.......The Positive here? Trainz doesn't like under Version 3.5, it'll more than likely spit out lots of Errors, my thoughts, why take the chance downloading something under Version 3.5, play it safe? I do occasionally download Version 2.9 Assets, simply put, there isn't anything newer to replace it, and I like it......

You can also add Keyword Names function for your Search on a Author, or in fact anything you search for, Keyword Searches are extremely powerful way to us your Content Manager.....

For example, I was looking for Routes that had the Name "Quarry" in their name, and it worked like a charm, I think I got about 5-10 different Routes that fit my particular request, and saved me a lot of time looking thru general Routes.......

Remember Content Manager is one big Database, and learning how to ask it for particular things, will work well, as you just fool around and experiment using different searches.....

Also using "AND" "OR" "AND NOT" are powerful searches to either leave out, or make a blend of different things you want to filter when searching for items.........I continue to use my Content Manager all the time, to weed out items, or be selective when needed for unique things....Think of it somewhat like a Rubic's Cube, in? The more you play with it, the more you'll be amazed at what this Powerful Utility can do for you......

As well, use Content Manager with Pick Lists, which in of themselves are extremely powerful when you take the time to add groups of most used items for drop down access when building your Routes, or just adding something particular on the fly.....I hope you'll find Content Manager as useful as I have over time......

Another thing I have learned to use over time is the "Bulk Asset Update Module" it works exceedingly well most of the time.

Functions I use most, are thinning out huge areas of mass planted trees, because my GPU, which is almost 3 yrs old, on Laptop can't keep up with the Rendering, which causes my trackage and other items not to view far enough out. I usually thin out trees from 40-75% and it makes a huge difference!

The other thing, is to fill in missing textures, in totality, or in Selected Areas, say like small Mountain Patches. Like anything else, it takes practice, the more you try out these different possibilities, the more you'll find it is a really cool Tool to play around with......The one other thing I suggest, always, when your messing around with a Route, keep 3 copies in backup, due in stages like say a couple of hours of Work. Always have a copy of the Original, just in case something goes wrong. (If something is not quite clear here, please post a MSG and let me know)

Routes downloaded/YTube Picks of the week/The Jenn Erik NG Rt

Good Tues all,

Looks like Xmas might come with some much needed Rain, will see how our next big Storm works out this week. I've pretty well got my Travel Laptop setup now with Trainz Platinum and I have a good feel of what size Routes it will handle. This is due too the Lenovo Ideapad S540 having a Passive Cooling System, no Fan. It needs to be elevated about 1/2" high. The GPU is modest, does pretty good. Nice thing is this is 12.5 Inch very lightweight Laptop. When we went to Amsterdam, it worked well for me. I am sold on it for travel needs....Comes with One Terabyte, hoping to add a Two Terabyte SSD.

Downloaded a few more Routes "Harbor Type" and some small 1-6 Tile Routes to merge up with my other projects, along with some narrow gauge ones too.....

Using some keywords along with specific Category and Min build version Filters......

Here is how a person can use Keywords to bring up specific items......

These Zona Routes have really intricate Rail Yards.

These not large Routes, however there is lots of Action and things to do.......

There are several missing items unfortunately, but Necessity is the Mother of Invention, so I just find some items to replace and were good.....
