Does 2009 count as the old days?

I never thought 2004 would count as the old days, as back then I looked back at old forum posts and DLS uploads from 1999/2000 as being ancient. 4 years older being "ancient" seems like a complete riot now considering how quickly 4 years goes by. It has now been 12 years since first buying TRS and here I still am.

Who remembers Redroo the waffle king? Back in the good old days of post-count-based avatars.

Steamboat's still here, sailing under a light breeze and following seas.

Wow, what a trip down memory lane. Sadly some of the oldies are gone from this world but it looks like a lot are not. I retired last winter and have been thinking of installing whatever is the last version of Trainz that I have stashed somewhere. Been busy with the honey-do list but this coming winter I'm aiming to have some free time.

I do remember you Ish and thanks for the welcome back. I hope I have enough gray matter left to figure how to install and run Trainz tho...... especially on Win10.

I wasn't really involved with the forums until after 2010, think it was 2012 or 2013 when I actively joined and started posting, but I've been playing trainz since I was 5 back in 2003 on the original trainz. I actually saw a screenshot a few days ago that had the ATSF streamlined coaches from the original in it and I started tearing up a bit.

Yes, I remember the waffle tag.
    AND the waffle train.
    And the waffle industry.
    Them were the days, yessir!

I've been playing Trainz since 2007, when my dad bought me TRS2006. That year for Christmas I got UTC because my parents thought it was a newer version. As you can see, my account was created in 2007, though I was never an active community member until 2014. I played TRS2006 on my parents' old computer until January 2012 when I got my own computer that had TS2010 installed. Later that year I bought TS12.
