How do I backup my route in T:ANE?

I have windows7, which is badly prone to random hangs. Having tried all the other "solutions' suggested by MS, the website says the next step is a wipe and reinstall of the OS.
I started a route and would like to back it up before I do that, but I can't find it on the hard drive.
I followed the instructions on restoring backups, but the address in the Install tab doesn't exist.
Do you have any ideas on how to save the route, or should I call it a loss and start over after reinstalling?

I think I got it.
I exported it as a cdp and placed it in my expansion drive.

Be sure to export the dependencies too.
