NS SD90/43MAC Headlights

Recently Norfolk Southern bought a load of Union Pacific SD90/43MACs. You will notice that NS goes to a great deal to put headlights on the cab instead of the nose. Note the ES40DC pic:

Now of course the ES40DC and C40-9W have the same cab, and the ES44AC has a moved headlight block but still I bet they could do something...
However, the order of UP SD90s had nose headlights so, will NS do something about or not?

Photo editing by me shows what I think the should/might do. Or they could just slap an SD70ACe cab on and be done with it. What are your predictions/knowledge of this topic?

I heard that the cabs were really damaged and rotted out, so they were being replaced with ACe cabs. I think that they might call them SD70ACu's. I am not sure about any of this however.

They are getting new electronics and cabs but are still keeping the 4300 HP prime mover. If you have facebook, like the Altoona Works page and you will see more info on the SD90/43 MAC's rebuilds as there are a couple already underway.

I read the thing about SD70ACu's on Facebook so I'll just follow along! Sounds cool though cause, although it has nose headlights this is more or less what I imagine.

Now two of them do, but with cab headlights! I don't mind these locomotives having these cabs, but they would've look better with a nose headlight. I even found a picture of an O Gauge model of the SD90MAC-H dressed as an NS SD80MAC made by MTH at one point for a comparison. This was on the O Gauge forums and they thought MTH "predicted the future" when they came out with this once inaccurate model. :hehe:
