Forgotten locomotive and no track to drive it!

Just came across a BBC news item on an amusing railway matter in Egypt.

They have come across a railway engine in a desert area to the west of Luxor. It has been stuck there for hears and was forgot about. It seems the branch line was closed years ago because of shifting sand and the repeated high cost of keepuig tracks in place. What apparently added to the situation was that much of the 93 miles of track has been stolen for the steel. Now having came across the poor loc it has been removed by road haulage.
