Steam Specials...on the Blue Mountain & Reading/Reading, Blue Mountain & Northern

I am starting this thread which is where I will post screenshot of the fabulous Reading & Northern route by Jointedrail. Feel free to post your own shots of the Reading Here too. My shots will include modern day ones of the 425 and RBM&N, and older ones of 2102 and 425 on the BM&R. I will start of with a series of 100 shots on the Blue Mountain & Reading in the 1990s.

Nice shots there Saturnr. What time of day did you set your shots
Well I did the one with 2102 by itself around 4:00 pm, and the doubleheader was around 4:20pm. The rest of them are taken throughout the day, as I keep the Trainz clock set on the same time as my clock, so they are throughout the day as the sun progressed along on the way to and from Jim Thorpe.

I use the tender off K&L Trainz E10a in CN "Dark Form" with photo texture of the advertisement off 425AT. I repainted everything blue, the sides, the coal load(which sadly doesn't go down), so I use it as a blue tarp over tools. I purposely faded it as the real one had become quite faded, and was very faded when it was repainted to the new darker blue in 2015. The only think I didn't make blue were the wheels.

A fitting ending as the #1 brings up the end of the train trailing off into thesunset. To the right we see the Reading's most valuable commodity, coal, specifically, Anthracite.

I hope you have enjoyed these shots. Next I shall post some of the followingday's hypothetical photo charter (October 14, 1990).

Imagine the surprise of the photo charter passengers when this is what pulled up, a complete transformation overnight, after the previous day's Anthracite Express.
And on this foggy morning the view from the colourful #200 was a bit obscured.

Thankfully eventually the fog burned off, showing the complete 1973 consist which had been recreated for this October of 1990 charter, down to #200 "Independence" being returned to its classic "Splendid Spirit" #200 Freedom Train Paint.

Where did you get the turntable for Jim Thorpe? It looks closer to the real one with that metal arch in the middle.

where can I get those Reading & Northern Passenger cars?

where can I find the dome car the observation car and the blue coaches?

Where can I get the water tender to 425?

The coaches and stock in question are my personal reskins. The dome is a reskin of a MILW super dome sinc the real one is ex-MILW. 425's aux tender is from K&L's E10a, and the Black Diamond is a reskin of the K&L Chessie observation, as is 200. 200 is the very vehicle Rowland used, so it is 100% accurate, all I did was change the paint like he did after the AFT.

Um Chris, I have to point out that Ryan did not ask for the content. He asked where he could get it. That is not being "like a gimme-pig". If we didn't ask where non-DLS content came from we wouldn't get a lot of good stuff. I am glad he asked since I had been wondering where both the observation and the super dome had come from.

Wait...Ryan, did you SERIOUSLY bump this thread with THREE POSTS just to ask for content like a gimme-pig?

WOW.
It is my thread that I started and I have no problem, if it wasn't mine I would ask too. Please don't be critical. I don't care or find it a bother. I might start it up again as I ran RBMN recently and RBMN has a new parlour car (ex-GMO).
