Greetings.

Trains are really tough things that must stand up to mother nature. Clock keeps ticking and the wheels of commerce keep rolling come rain or shine or a bit of "leaves on the track". This week's theme is Bad Weather. Please send your theme suggestions for subsequent competitions via email or Skype by clicking on the little icons below my username.

One screenshot allowed per entrant. Screenshots must adhere to the theme and the Trainz Forum Code of Conduct.
Submission closes on October 11 at
12:00 mn UTC/GMT/Zulu time.

Cheerio,
Nicholas

Dropping down away from the storm they just passed through, Amtrak's California Zephyr descends the west side of Donner Pass

25 years ago to the day tomorrow, (Saturday, October 13, 1990) Reading & Northern (then Blue Mountain & Reading)'s T-1 #2102 and G1 Pacific #425 lead the first Anthracite Steam Special of the year over the Hometown High Bridge. Sadly for the photographers hoping for vivid shots of the fall foliage, the weather has turned bad, becoming rainy and stormy.
The 2102 and 425 hurry back towards Port Clinton where the excursion will terminate.

Enjoy these shots, and thank you Steve for such a lovely locomotive.

With the steady rain and gloomy look, it was not the best day for sightseeing for the passengers on this run! The only break in the weather was when the grey clouds allowed the sun's rays to peek out and shine on the wet tree branches for a short moment in time.

Blue Mountain & Reading #2102 blasts across Tube Dr. at Leesport Junction with an excursion to Temple in tow!

A Cold Day - with light, but drifting snow - even the cars are buries in the stuff

I think any passengers getting off this train may be in for a shock when they get back to their cars.

However, a porter or the Station Master will always give a hand with the shovel if asked.

(Well they did in those days, anyway).
