The wild flower garden tended by the locals was a wonderful sight for the passengers who were travelling through the drought parched, coastal landscape.

That's a lovely scene, but it looks geologically unstable (to my non-geologist eyes) - a disaster waiting to happen!

When (not if) a significant portion of the rock between the lake (or river) and the waterfall cracks off and falls, then a significant part of the contents of the lake (or of the flow of the river) is going to crash down the water fall. Any boat (like the one shown) on the lake/river will be propelled down the waterfall and almost certainly the deluge will wash away the bridge pier shown, taking the bridge and any passing train down with it!

You see it's a far more exciting scene than you thought it was!

Preserved Gresley A3 Flying Scotsman & BR Class 105 DMU at Edinburgh Waverley Station

A train consisting of the preserved Gresley A3 Flying Scotsman locomotive and a set of panelled coaches both resplendent in LNER livery enters Edinburgh Waverley Station after its tour of the Highlands as a humble BR Class 105 DMU departs.
