Good Morning,

I just bought the ST5 I&II Desert / TX-6 Grnd Tex Package from this website: http://jvctreez.com/pw_mega_packs.html
After paying the $9 via paypal i got a 329MB link with some rar file, including 3 CDP files. After the installation i noticed that a lot of names of objects that are listed in the KUID+Content list next to the 'buy it' button are NOT there.

I downloaded it a second time and tried again - nothing. All of those TX-6 textures are missing in the download file, also some of the grasses and stuff. Advertised are 191 Assets - after installation i got 156 new ones. So...where are the missing ones? Trying to download again does not work now too, it says it expired. But well - the content wasnt in the link anyway.

So - i would like to have the content i paid for. Or my money back (half of it lol...got half of the content)

Sorry, but doesn't it say 156 warnings, due to previously installed assets? What does it show if you search for the missing kuids numbers?

Try that and see if they appear.

I'll now forward this to paypal to get my money back and tell them about the problems with JVC's site / stuff for sale. Hoping to get my money back without problems. If not, my lawyer will take care of this.

Its not about the $9 at all lol. I dont care about them...i just want that i get what i pay for. ;-) I could care less about those $9 ^^

Hey oknotsen :)

I sent 3 emails from my Laptop with a new email account i made (lost password for flusi737(at)gmail -.- ), but he either did not get them or he didnt reply, i dont know for sure since i had problems with some "imap protocol" with the email account the last days - the main reason why i also started this thread. I do get other incoming mails from ebay though.

Since it is dark early and cold in Norway most of the year, consider that he might be on vacation.
I doubt his main source of income is fooling Germans into buying half-complete packages ;) .

Sure, it is not nice that the package did not consider all the goods promised, but it might explain why he did not reply yet.

Anyway,
I send him a PM to point him to this topic.

The problem at all has not been solved, but i got my money back for it. Well...i'd rather have the stuff but yeah.
So thanks for your posts and info guys :)

Btw - checked for "opened" assets, that wasnt the problem :/

Hello, Felix,

I have a suggestion as to how you can accurately determine whether or not the pack includes what it says it does. (even if it may be too late for such a suggestion)

Install a second copy of Trainz and install the CDPs directly into that, then see how many are installed. I assume that the discrepancy arose because some of the assets in the pack were already installed.
