The Scenic Columbia River Gorge. *Large Screenshots*

The scenic Columbia River Gorge is located on the Southern Washington/Northern Oregon borders between Portland,OR and Vancouver, WA to Maryhill, WA and Biggs Junction, OR and points east to UP's Hinkle Yard and Pasco, WA(BNSF). The route will deplete the area from around Portland/Vancouver to East Control Point at McCredie(MP 157.7/BNSF and Heppner Jct, OR/UP). I have track laid on the far most eastern edge of the route on the Washington side(BNSF) from McCredie to about 3 miles west of Roosevelt, WA. About 15 miles of mainline track so far. There is minimal scenery on this route so far but, I am still testing out textures and foliage for the eastern end(The drier side of the route), as you will see in one screenshot. Hope you all enjoy the shots.

First few shots are from around Roosevelt, WA of the Republic Services Garbage Intermodal Facility and of BNSF Train Q-PTLCHC9-20A passing by. Hope to be able to one day have 48ft and 20ft garbage containers as a scenery objects and as a railcar product for well cars.

And some more shots of the Q-PTLCHC9-20A east of Roosevelt heading towards McCredie. The 3rd shot shows how diverse the hillsides are on the Washington side and the 4th shot shows the area that I have been testing out textures near the Pine Creek Treaty Fishing Area.

Love it !

I can't wait to fill that up with 4000 railcars, and 40 locos, and watch my framerates plummet to 0.05 FPS.

I am a great fan of huge yards, and have several of them !

Some shots of Amtrak Train #14 leaving Portland and UP's Lake Yard transfer between Lake Yard and CP 0.5 heading back to Albina Yard.
