TS 12: Can't start Lincoln Relief

The game is patched to 61388. I load the session and I get a question mark instead of a driver photo. I right click, left click, hit the keyboard with hammer and all I manage to do is either jump onto another train or damage my keyboard. I have done enough scratching my head for one night. Surely I've done some silly mistake somewhere...
