Missing Dependency on the Cold Creek Route

epa

Angry Trainz Nerd
I just downloaded the Cold Creek Logistics route and I can't wait to run on it, but I can't find this dependency for the life of me:

Unknown Location: <kuid:175455:101456>

I searched on the JR site, and all it brought up the content pack for the route.

Any help finding this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Matt

You must need the content pack then. It's the same way with Diamond River. You only get the actual mine industry if you get the content pack for $30, otherwise you get an incomplete route with no actual MINE, and no purpose, unless you buy the content pack. But really, what is the point of having an freeware route that needs some kind of payware content pack to GIVE THE ROUTE ITS FUNCTIONALITY? It's almost like buying the entire route instead of getting the route for free, then needing a content pack for $30 to make the route WORK. I hoped JR would realize this and make CCL like Midwest Grain, where the content pack only contains the locomotives for the route, not the actual industries, or at least make the route and content for $35 instead.

But, this is the whole idea, you pay for the creation of the route with extra scenery items and the accompanying locomotives and rolling stock, if folks just think that this is purely a freeware route and they don't have to spend any money is just typical. JR are a business, you don't expect everything to be free surely, or, do you? And if you were quick off the mark, you'd have only paid $19.99 for everything, excellent value for money for what you get.

And kuid:175455:101456 is the JR Midwest Cold Storage building which comes in the Payware content pack when you buy the layout.

I could actually point out, that what they did was pretty smart. One of the single biggest obstacles to Route Release and Distribution is Copyright and 3rd Party content.... By making the route free, they dodge the copyright and distribution issues entirely..... So they can still make Payware Route Assets and charge for em, without the headache of trying to make their own trees and smaller detail objects that would come with charging for the whole route.... I think its pretty smart actually if they're gonna do this. I won't turn down the idea of more freeware Route Items though of course XD lol.
