I am near the end of the Westbound Merchandise session. I am approaching Flat Top Yard with instructions to park the consist on Track 3, decouple, and get water.
I have a red signal at Pocahontas Crossing. It looks like I need to take the crossover from the right hand track to the left to get to track 3 - the switches beyond the crossing are set and there are yellows leading to track three.
The near switch is set to take the cross over, but the far switch isn't and I can change the far switch. The left hand track has a green, but I can't find any train approaching.
If I were on the left hand track, I would be clear to track 3, but I am fairly confident I am on the proper track. I did the switching at Bluefield and received clearance to Flat Top with green signals to this point; I did not throw any switches leaving Bluefield.
Anyone else been in this situation? Did I do something incorrectly? How do I get out?
