Trainz 2 - New Track Sound Removal

Since the release of Trainz 2, there has been a sound added to trains when they run, its a really loud and irritating track noise. I was wondering how to either turn it down or disable it completely. When I run a steam loco, I want to hear the sounds of the loco, not this horrible rumbling noise. Same with some diesels.

I do not have the Mac version, yet you may be experiencing the same problem. Do you have the 'Auran BT10 Bogey' installed (<kuid:-25:245>)? This bogey is the cause of an awful roaring sound that affects all trains if any item of rolling stock in a session contains one. To silence it, go into its config text and delete the final entry, i.e:-

then save the config file and re-commit the asset.
