Narrow gauge screenshots

re post #3557 STLSF4003
Thanks for the compliment STLSF4003.
The route, a fictional WIP, is for TRAINZ22+. As it has many payware textures and items plus items from now defunct 3rd party sites it won't be for release.
It's a "what if" route that I can expand as an idea grabs me. Set somewhere in the West Country of the UK and connected/extended to/from the original Lynton and Barnstable Railway, (trying to model the real L&B is above my paygrade) it will make junction with the standard gauge of the former LSWR . Sadly in real life most railway lines in this part of the UK have long gone, a few, thanks to railway enthusiasts have re-opened on a heritage basis.

For info on the Lynton and Barnstable Railway please see the following links,

Just going to leave this Uintah Railway appreciation post here. A big thanks to dangavel for spending a few years of his life making this route, pitkin for putting together some sessions for it, and to togog, bendorsey, bdaneal, narrowgauge, and anyone else I'm forgetting for all they contributed to this over the years.

Look how beautifully the cliffs in the background blend in. I love it.

I concur with euromodeller, having recently purchased the book "The Lynton & Barnstable Railway 1895-1935" by L. T. Catchpole, how magnificent and accurate
clam1952's route is. I look forward to many more screenshots. A work of art.
Cheers, evilcrow.

Thanks folks.
I agree! And I like your Southern #188 too!

That's edh6 Ed's model, I did make the Locos way back but for TS12 was quite happy when he decided to make more up to date models, the carriages are by Skipper1945.

@evilcrow
I bought the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway Measured and Drawn by Stephen D Phillips which has large accurate drawings of everything with measurements, from Locos to Gradient posts and a Gradient profile. It's a big book and was a tad expensive!

As this is a screenshots thread..... Blackmoor

Cheers, evilcrow.

I have to say, there's a lot about the route from what we've seen so far that makes me think of old images/videos of the railyards and lines from the South African Railways XD Not just because of the Garratts, haha

like the little extras in back map and diagram?

Talking about our favorite British NG the L&BR I realized I still have this from TS12 L--B V2 I updated with proper floor a long time ago, can't find the original anymore in CMP or DLS search so must have been deleted and can't remember original author but a blast from the past

Some times i wonder about the future of NG on trainz as the company never promote any of the routes or provide any new items as DLC either, but form what i can see recently there are quite a few routes in progress , great variety too , well done folks. However from my observations, not many younger folk seem all that interested in making routes or content, trainboi being the obvious exception ... or am i incorrect ?
