The "F" and "E" unit fan club.

i am a lover of F and E units myself, so much so my first HO model was a UP F3A-B set.


Now that i think about it, i am pretty sad no UP F units have been preserved, or that a preserved unit has been painted in UPs scheme recently. Well, one can dream adios! :wave:

I agree, the slanted nose design always caught my eye more than the bulldog F’s but man they were iconic. A big five chime horn and a long mixed freight behind is a perfect match

The newest Southern E Unit

Premiered at Railfest 2018, Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum's Southern 6914 still has electrical work needed, but she's otherwise completed. And she looks good too.

Now only if someone could make a nice, decent, updated cab for these units we would be all set. They seem to have been forgotten by the developers .
