I may or may not be a familiar face to you Smileyman, but it's always good to see Trainzers whether they are new to it, or have returned after a period of not using it.

Is Trainz 2012 still the newest version?
I'm considering getting back into it, with a view to more 3D Models and scripting, so I'd like to know what version to get, if I decide to.

And for those people who sent me private messages, I've only just found them as I haven't been here at all, so I hope you used my caravans and re-skinning the tracks was fine.

Smiley. (Have to think twice before signing that, because my other Alter-Ego is Krush. lol)
 
TS12 is indeed the latest released version (although there is a new version being developed called Trainz A New Era which is due to be released in December this year.

Are all those guys really no longer around the scene?
That's a real shame.
So much talent. And humour (Hey Ed, where are you? lol)

Hopefully I'll be getting back into it in the coming weeks, and maybe I'll be the catalyst to more of the old crowd drifting back this way.

How about Ish? Is he still here?
And how about Lance? Does he still work for Auran (or whatever they're called now).
And have they finally fixed all those bugs in the TrainzScript code? lol

Long time not seen you around.

It's great to see a familiar face here, I hope you are ok and well.:D

Nobody's heard from Ed for a long time now here, he was here and then gone again, I just hope he is ok, everyone's worried about him. Ish6 is still here and Lance Jago does not work for Auran anymore, Auran is now N3V, Tony Hilliam (CEO), James Moody and WindWalkr are here at N3V (Auran), the new comers at N3V are ZecMurphy, shadowarrior, aronc, pw3r, Spiffy, GPavlich and on and on.........., about Lionel and Rob don't know if they are still at N3V.

Remember the old days at Auran: Greg Lane, Café and Rob having brew at the office without any Trainz support.:hehe::hehe:

The DLS has gone through a big cleanup process, it still is, not many faulty assets now and over 300,000 assets on the DLS, about the Trainzscript much better, also if you want more details on that WindWalkr is the man for the answers on the scripting side.:D

My advice is try TRS 2012 and also wait for the new Trainz Simulator TANE in December 2014 or link below for TANE Development updates:

I sorta remember that you made some sort of scenario creator software back in the UTC days. (I never really got the hang of it though.)
Well, welcome back, it's always nice to see a legendary poster return.

I stumbled across TrainzLuvr several months ago, and my programs were still up there.
It was fun looking at the screenshots.
I put so much work into the second version it took over my life. lol

Just to clarify the DLS is still going through a clean up process, about three quarters of the assets are not faulty maybe less, just a small amount of assets are faulty about one quarter or less.

I certainly remember you well. Welcome back...

As for Sirgibby, (Michael). I'm in regular phone contact with him and he's still very active in the Trainz scene. He's still regularly updating his Murchison 2 "payware" thread with new screen-shoots of M2, etc... (he's still quietly chipping away in the background on his latest Trainz project as well)...

As for the rest of them, have know idea!!! Certainly miss Euphod's humour !!!
