Missing Kuids? Post them here.

Hopefully Hiawathamr can shed some light. I have only <kuid2:605579:100377:2> Generic_Sounds_HTML, and it is packaged in <kuid2:605579:100396:15> Midwestern Branch - TRS19. "List Asset versions" shows both the original KUID and version :1 as unknown.

Hey guys. I'm looking for <kuid:376853:101048> for the Eagle River Railway I got from JR. Usually this asset wasn't missing, and I did install both dependency packs for it multiple times. Is this available bundled in with some other route?

Hello everyone, I'm trying to get some of my favorite routes from TS12 and TS10, namely the NEC Wilmington-Philadelphia, N&W Appalachian Coal, TUME's Municiple Transit Railroad, and the CN Holly Sub routes working on my copy of TS22, build number 123801. Its my first time trying something like this, and having to really screw around in CM to get stuff working, and I've got most of it done from random bits of advice on here and other threads, but I'm still missing 19 KUIDs:

<kuid:50567:22774>
<kuid:50567:22775>
<kuid:523:19721231>
<kuid:523:19721215>
<kuid:50567:22771>
<kuid:7592:22771>
<kuid:523:19721212>
<kuid:447264:1208>
<kuid:523:19721213>
<kuid:523:19721214>
<kuid:50567:22773>
<kuid:523:19721210>
<kuid:50567:22778>
<kuid:523:19721233>
<kuid:523:197213028>
<kuid:453099:100004>
<kuid:523:197213033>
<kuid2:72938:42004:1>
<kuid2:72938:42003:1>

I might already have <kuid:453099:100004>. I did a (in retrospect really weird) thing several years ago when I got a new computer, and that was copying all the database files from my old installs of TS12 and TS10 into some random corner of the hard drive on my new computer, but never properly installed or set up those versions to run. I searched through those and found a folder labled as kuid 453099 100004, containing a single file called e9b3efebe7675f94.gsl, but CM doesn't seem to want to accept it.

Also seperately, does anyone know if HP-Trainz's full Marias Pass route would work on my TS22 install? Preferably with HiawathaMR's sessions running too? The demo was another favorite of mine from that era and I would love to get the full route running while I'm at it, but I saw in another thread that HP-Trainz is inactive, and I don't want to spend the money if there is a chance it would be broken with no way of fixing it.

Not much help here, as it looks like I don't have any of them, but I am wondering if these are from your TS10 and TS12 can you export them from those versions and install them in 22?

Would that be done in a way other than with the "Import Content Folder" button? Because I already tried that with <kuid:453099:100004> and it gave me following error

Unsupported file type for 'D:/Program Files (x86)/N3V Games/Railway Simulator/prebuilt/asset-libraries/kuid 453099 100004/e9b3efebe7675f94.gsl'

No. In TS12, you can select assets (hold shift or ctrl to select multiple assets), right click and select "Save to CDP". Save them to a folder on your hard drive. Then you should be able to just drag and drop them onto CM in TRS22. <kuid:453099:100004> is the file quarry, and can be saved to CDP. I tried it into TRS19 and it came up fine, but then went faulty when I tried to preview it. A lot of ".texture" files have to be updated to ".tga" images and ".texture.txt" files with Images2tga by PevSoft. Easily done, as it is just a "save as" for each, but it is late tonight and I have something early in the morning. I haven't seen any script error yet though. I will follow up tomorrow when I get a chance. This is very typical for bringing older assets forward to newer versions of Trainz, unfortunately.
EDIT: To follow up, I converted all the .texture files, and now the asset appears to be fine in TRS19. All of the animated features are working in preview. From what I can tell sometimes TRS22 throws errors about scripts that TRS19 won't.

JR is NOT Defunct by anymeans Get that out of your head HPL... How many times do we have to tell you that....

I hope someone can help, but sadly the purveyors of Thomas assets quite commonly leave out needed assets. Your best bet may be to try and contact someone at TSI regarding the missing assets and perhaps they can direct you to them.
