Hallo Peso,

looking good!

It seems that the time is coming back when the guys are working day by day downstairs in the cellar room at the model railway - until their wives calls them up in order to get attention. :D

Happy trainzing.

Cheers guys (and Kimo for the genius technique!)

as for the questions...

Trainfan2017: the table look is a combination of wall/retaining wall splines to form the sides, dig holes to form voids and the floor is a spline (see Kimo's posts on which one)

tume: If my house had a basement I'm sure my lady would make sure i was locked in there as long as possible :p

GP502011: conrtrollers came with the Multi Layer layout off the DLS (you should grab these anyway). It's listed as Transformer **** (something i can't remember). Should be on the DLS though.

Nice work Xawery i was thinking of the Downtown Miami Spur myself well done mate. Great work every one as well.
Cheers Mick.

Long ago I made this one base board version of an N scale layout I once had. BTW, one base board is the equivalent of an N scale layout that fills a 2 car garage wall to wall.

WOW! I didn't think this thread would get such a response like this. Thanks and great work everyone. So not to have delusions of grandeur,:hehe: I like to think of this thread as more of ideas and thinking outside the box. while I'm tweaking my model railroad to be released. Here are some shots for those wondering how I did it.

@ Therock - :Y: I used bendorsey's dighole 9, don't know if it makes any difference.

@ eso - Awsome looks like you already got it.

@ Xawery - Lance Mindheim for sure.

I think i've fallen in love with virtual model railroads. They suit my preferences perfectly. I may create some assets that could be useful for that kind of routes provided that i find some time.

I can't figure out how you make the ground look hollow underneath the track? So the above screen shot you can see the ground textures and underneath the supports, when I try this the ground goes all the way to the track and covers the poles etc.

Cheers
