The pelmet idea is interesting Graham. I'd like to have a go at trying that out once it's on the DLS

Some screenshots of my next project....heading out west this time. The layout will be larger this time around to allow for some wider vistas... it will be a narrow gauge route (30 inch) with some 18 inch mine tracks.

Thanks hotgrove. I've never seen that movie, but it is a Clint Eastwood movie and I know he did quite a few westerns. I just free lanced the route, but I'm glad it reminds you of that movie, it means I must be getting the old west vibe pretty closely then :-)

    Cheers

Good news, gang; My new freelanced St. Louis based layout is all finished! Should be placing my consists on it and uploading the layout onto the DLS tomorrow, hopefully!

Some more shots of my latest model railroad....a western US themed one. It is a little larger (about 10 base boards or so). I did it that way to be able to place certain large assets, but also to give the feel of a western desert terrain. These follow a stagecoach around the route.

Getting some work done on my first route since TRS12. General layout for the first "wing" of the model board is done. Now for more details and a small city behind the yard area...

Still having trouble to cover up the digholes - any ideas?

I just need to do the descriptive text to add to the config.txt file and the images, so it should be uploaded do the Download Station later today:
