Barrie, Ontario Go Transit MP40PH-3c number 631 at Allandale Waterfront station.

If you look behind and to the left, you'll see Allandale station proper, but out in the middle of a field? I wonder if this is going to be part of a bigger station complex, or maybe the building will become part of a mall or park in the middle of nowhere.

McAlester, Oklahoma SD70ACe number4039. Kansas City Southern. One of the sweetest paint jobs today!

Definitely one of the best. It beats the splat of black and blue that PAR has on their locomotives, and looks back to the time when railroads were proud of their equipment and painted their locomotives tastefully. Can you imagine a passenger fleet all decked out like this? :)

Image date say's 2012 but I'm not sure if these babies' are still at that location today, They were apparently put there and kept as back up power for the BNSF loco shop which is behind the locos in that pic. Quite a few pic's and story's around the Net about these two locomotives,
Still there as of Summer 2016 https://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=588161

While you are there head out of town a few mile and check out Carhenge another famous Nebraska landmark lol https://www.google.com.au/maps/@42....4!1sB0GfdWzCJvXqpVkTuJtwWA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656
