How do I return the ground to level?

I want to do some changes to a yard, but the ground is not level. There are little rolling hills, and a couple mounds I want gone, but cannot figure out how to return the ground to the original level. Thank you for your time, Danny

Determine what height you want the ground to be, or use the Get height tool on the Topology tab. Then simply use the Use height tool to set the terrain height to the area that you want to change.

Or you can use the Plateau (P) tool.

Use a small radius and low sensitivity. Place the cursor over the point at which you want the level to be, then LMB and push your mouse around the area you want to have at that level.
