The Canadian Thread - Hi-Res images

Awesome shots all! I spy an observation dome Ekankal! :D Did you make that yourself?
First off, thanks guys for your kind words :) .

Gisa: No, it's just a repaint I made on one of "mr dragons" coaches ;).

Working on the PA-1 inspired me to repaint my CPR passenger cars. Find the reskins on the Download Station. Word of warning, they require at least TS12 SP1 (3.7), or TANE. And I'm seriously considering doing a rebuild, considering these assets are over 10 years old and most certainly show their age, compared with, say, Fleet of Modernism. No promises though.

Ha, ha, ha! You really made me laugh with the first sentence at the top of this page Rick. Haven't heard that in years! I'm still chuckling.
Great shots from you as usual. I hope those cows aren't drinking out of the kids' swimming pool!

Erik, nice shot of the 5455. Lots of nice little details in there.

The VIA cars look pretty good for being 10 years old, Austin. Thanks for the repaints. If you should go ahead with rebuilding them they would be much appreciated by all.

Enzo1 has those awesome CP units. I find myself driving them quite a bit on my CN tracks. Nice screenshots!

Well it's a great repaint, like so many others you do. Sometimes, it's torture looking at the stuff you do (because it looks so great!)

LOVE the old siding tracks you did! Top notch realism there!

ekankal, you ought to work for JR. Imagine if you and felix_g collaborated on making something! It would probably be the best thing ever made for trainz.

Nice shots with the old CP units Epo. I always liked that old paint scheme.

Those screenshots from Erik sure do look almost like photographs. Very nicely done. I really like the ground texture around the tracks. The old yard engine looks like it has seen a lot of years of hard service.

More great stuff from Rick. You sure are creative in how you use assets to make a scene. Always a lot going on in them. We had a foot of snow come down on the weekend and Wednesday it was 28C. Crazy!
And here we are, back in the city. Still lots to do.

7 locomotives needed to pull this fully loaded Canadian grain train over all the steep climbs up the mountains here, 3 pulling, 2 mid helpers and 2 are pushing at the end.

(Sorry for my somewhat poor English sometimes guys ;))
