Bit of an update for Dover Springs.....skip ahead a few years to the early 2000's and you'll see that the DS Yard has been left mostly abandoned.....VIA keeps a small servicing facility for the local train, as well as a scrap line of derelict and waiting-to-be-torched units. The only freight action left is a twice a week CN local that works up and down the branch spotting and switching as needed. Aside from those two concerns, the Dover Steam Museum is still in operation, with a daily tourist train and a static display of an old Auxilliary or Wreck train, sharing the car shops with VIA for minor repairs as well as the turntable and engine facilities for the sole F40PH and SW1200 that earns it's keep by assisting the Museum and VIA as needed
Little railfan action on Bathurst St and Spadina Yard. Managed to catch the Canadian departing for Bala Sub, the UP Express heading for Pearson, the morning VIA J-train, and then early morning GO action
Christian, Hogger, Casey, wonderful views fellas! I'm working on the jungle, once know as camp17. It doesn't always look like this. Some days it gets real crazy!
