The Canadian Thread - Hi-Res images

Amazing job on those skins, Ken! Very nice!

I think there will be some new CN steam running the Watrous Sub after Friday. Real nice, Steve!

WCRULEZ, the 8910 looks pretty good. If you take to the shop I'm sure the mechanics would be happy to smear some grease and oil on it.

Cheers, Jack

Thanks Ken. The landscape in the area I am now working is fairly wide open.

Very nice shot from yourself. The new engine and cars trailing behind from K&L look real good.

Cheers, Jack

Very fine work here and on the K&L thread, Ken. Looks like you've been busy reskinning F units. Looking good there!
Cheers, Jack

Nice shot Jack. re my shot CN F7. Not a reskin by me, the original is by sandman2 <kuid38304> on the DLS. You can get CPR F7 by the same chap.
To get them into TANE will need some work/bodge on the config/other mesh from JR etc.

Cheers Ken

Ken, those F7s in your screenshot look good. I will have to look for them. Thanks for the information. Is it still hot in the UK? Been getting everything here and almost had frost last week.

Nice shots of Cayden's route, Norm!

Here's an eastbound going past Zelma.
Cheers, Jack

Good to see your work again Michael. We camped near Fort Steele many years ago and had a good time visiting the Fort.

A wet scene to match the wet weather you're experiencing, Ken. Nice looking Alco. I downloaded the CP and CN F7s. Just need to try them out.

Zelma is a tiny community as you can see.
Cheers, Jack

July 1st is Canada Day and I would like to wish all our northern neighbors a "Happy Canada Day".

Best Regards,

Thanks John. Canada's 150th birthday. I hope all of you south of the border have a great July 4!

VIA, nice little video here. Have a super Canada Day everyone!

Hi Folks;

I've shelved CPR BC East for a while. SP2 chokes on a real route. So, I've resurrected The Kettle Valley Route.
The following are from the route. The route dates from January 2010. I inherited the route and worked on it until Nov 2013 when TS12 choked. I went back this Feb. and spent a month (TAN:E Build 84204) bulk replacing TS12 version speedtreez with the TAN:E speedtree versions. I am now almost half way through re-tracking the route. So some pictures:

Approaching Brodie Station.

Turning into the Tulameen River valley:

Further south is the settlement of Brookmere: (PS The floating track was fixed.)

and a small (fictitious) settlement south of Brookmere.

That's all for today.
