The Canadian Thread - Hi-Res images

Jack,

if you don't mind me asking, what ground texture are you using for farm fields?

Great route BTW! I love watching it progress on this thread.

Nice pics Jack & VIA :).

rr325, I'm using McGuirel's payware textures for any green fields that you see in my shots. They are seasonal with snow. Others fields are off of the DLS.

Erik, those are very nice shots that you're showing us. You do magic with trainz!

Cheers,
Jack

"Erik the Great" overshadow everything else :D Great work, as we are accustomed it from you. Telling us your secret!

Erik's work is very fine but I think you do just as fine a job escd84. Your latest shot is excellent. I like how busy that yard looks.

I'm away right now but I check from time to time to see what's happening here.

. . . And while we're on the topic of Canadian K&L Trainz Content, can you give us any info about how the Selkirk is coming along?

Havent started it yet. The order of releases for the rest of this year will be:

PRR 7002 Strasburg Set
CN 3254 Steamtown Set
Southern 4501 Excursion Set
CP Selkirk Streamlined and Non-Streamlined

2-8-0 #314 and 2-8-0 #315 assist 4-4-0 #253 on the 4.5% grade of the Big Hill east of Field, British Columbia, Canada circa 1887. The 5 car Atlantic Express passenger train, the longest initially allowed on the Big Hill, is shown on the second crossing of the Kicking Horse River as it climbs to the Kicking Horse Pass in the Rocky Mountains.

Nice screen shots escd84. I saw some nice work of yours in the 'Show off your routes' thread as well. Yesterday I saw 2 Rocky Mountaineer consists, both eastbound. One was just west of Revelstoke, British Columbia and the other was pulling into Kamloops.

Looking real good there Cayden! Excellent job with the rock textures and what an impressive bridge. A nice little history lesson as well.

Cheers,
Jack
