The Canadian Thread - Hi-Res images

Thanks for the comments gentlemen. I hope what I'm doing captures the feel of this area.

Great shot from you again Rick. I like the rocky shore and the fact that there isn't a building in sight. It looks like it's some desolate place along the coast - possibly there's a village just out of sight though. Looks real good anyway.

That's looking pretty good there Dragonharh. Lots of talent in the east! Nice photo too.

Pierre, I live in Saskatoon. You are in Quebec, right?

Looking forward to seeing your render Gerald.

And here we are back south a little, watching some grain heading for Vancouver.

Cheers everyone,
Jack

Great work Jack! I enjoy every moment of looking at your trains powering through the prairies.
I'm still here...
A couple late day runners. CN 2296 this time with a couple EMD classics behind (And a mid-train EMD classic that you can't see)

How cool was it that the engineer of the 746 let us in the cab of 729 to grab a picture or two?

Hi guys,

I wonder if someone can enlighten me re posting screenshots using Snips. I know how to use Snips but not how to get the end result to the Forum. Anyone got a nice easy way to do it?

Regards,

Dave

Well there has sure been some terrific shots put up lately. Nice ones from Chris. The shots inside the cab are nice to see. There doesn't ever seem to be many of those.

Those are a couple of great shots from you, Rick. The little cabin with the washing hanging and the boat tied up at the dock is real good. I like the ripples in the water. I think I'll have to change my settings as my water looks more like a pool of molten lead moving rather sluggishly.

CNSD40MRT, those shots from you look good too.

Dragonharh's engine is getting more details added. Looking good!

And yeah, that waterfall is really awesome in your shot Trainman! That is a really nice looking shot!

Cheers guys. I'm off to do a bit of work for my son. So much for being retired!

Jack

Progress shot of WHRC 1968 & 4079 its tricky to make them bother were they look different ones finished I may reless them to friends only and a small few for a very limited time I do not recommend reskinning them.

Nice work and nice shot all of you ! Rick is too modest. If you just grab what he writes about his route, you will believe this is the most crappy route ever made, but when you look at the shot and work behind, you get to a totally different conclusion :p

Cheers,
Rail4Pete

Oh man, Dragonharh, it didn't take you long to get those units into the game. Nice work!

Pierre, Rick does indeed have an awesome looking route!

I didn't get anything new done on my route today but I managed to sit down and get a screenshot from a different angle of an area I'd done already. Some day I'll have to run some power lines although a lot of it is underground.

Cheers,
Jack
