The Canadian Thread - Hi-Res images

Thanks guys! Sean, funny you mention Hamilton, I have an uncle that worked for Stelco down there and then in Gananoque.....maybe that's why I chose the name:p

Here's a couple more shots from the Wanakah(now renamed Wiarton for a more Ontario feel) Stelco Plant of CLC Whitcomb #'s 11 and 12 switching the plant spurs for #1000 to make the interchange with the CCLE

Very nice CN screenshots. Curious what track and ballast you are using. Starting to get to that phase now that my DEM UTM's are in place.

Thanks

Sean

Thank you Sean:)

The track is <kuid2:506034:4357297:7> JR US track #3-132 (narrow ballast) and ballast is <kuid:661281:85198> PBR Gravel 5 - Seasonal.

Scratched another item off my asset wish list. New on the DLS, a 56 Divco milk truck <kuid2:78865:44439:1>. Thanks to diecastgalore for this and all his 50's vehicles.

Reskin of a classic Canadian brand "Dairyland", in operation since 1917

You know I forgot that Wiarton is on Hwy 6. I honestly couldn't remember if I passed by. Probably because the only times I've passed through is rushing for the fairy, or traveling the other way at night. I really need to check out the area more. Sadly the tracks are all gone, and I never got to see them. Closest place for trains on Lake Huron now is Goderich.

Thanks

Sean

Really nice shots everybody!

Good job on the milk truck reskin, Casey. I remember those trucks, in fact I remember when there were still milk wagons pulled by horses. Not far from where I lived when I was yet a small boy, a milk wagon overturned going around a corner. That was quite an exciting morning! And then there was the day I accidently broke the milkman's glasses but that's another story. His name was Bud. Funny how some things stick with you through the years and then you have trouble remembering what you did yesterday.

Here's a shot at about mile 59.4 a couple miles west of Lestock.
Cheers, Jack
