Rick, Agree with Jack here. Always find it fascinating how fixed posed figures can be placed to create a scene. Well done.

Been under the weather. Haven't done much, except add MSGSapper's garbage...

    Very nice work, Jack!

I always seem to end up with some kind of naval base, and then wonder why I really need it!

    Cheers All .... Rick

Is that bridge and abutments custom? They look great.

Yep, MLW M630Ws and my custom bridge/abutment assets. I use the real BC Rail engineering department blueprints when I make the bridges/trackside objects for 100% accuracy.

Default CPR Smelter Jct and CSW Smelter Trail BC 1901

    Hi

this is a 30 minute video of the CPR operations in Trail BC in 1901 with a focus on proto TT&TO Smelter Jct operations and the operations of the CSW smelter.

I thought I would share my latest train railfan video that I have been working on since Sept 2022. I will be presenting this video at the Railway Modelers of BC conference May 18th with a theme of ' What I learned modelling the prototype"

Even though this video is specifically of Trail BC 1901 CPR Smelter Jct and the Candian Smelting Works, my project this last 8 months has been to rebuild the entire Columbia and Western RR from Midway to Rossland using feedback from people on version 1 that I built 4 years ago. Based on feedback, version 1 was 80% incorrect on track layout, bridges, trestles, industries and operations, so it has been a full rebuild of the 130 miles of track with the addition of prototype Train Orders

I will create videos of West Robson and Eholt in the fall 2023 to show all of the changes to prototype operations.

Please feel free to share with other railfans and modellers

Great to see more progress on this, especially to see the Trail operations!

I was trying to post, but the screenshot tool won't work for me. Has anybody else been getting this problem?
