That's a bunch of great shots Chris. A nice mix of power on the head end and the same for the rolling stock behind. I like that one with the little 's' curve.

Here's one west of Leney. Note that traffic is now stopping for the train.
Cheers, Jack

Gas station price sign

Way back in April, we had some discussion about the price of gasoline shown on a sign asset of mine. It was meant to be a 1950's object, but the prices displayed were too high for that era.

Anyway, this is just to say I've updated the asset (completely re-worked it actually) and the prices are now in line with Rail4Pete's research. It's on the DLS as <kuid2:68213:26008:3> "Gas station price sign 01", if you want it.

[I apologise in advance for a grammatical error in the Description - after so many edit-and-check cycles when creating, I didn't see the wood for the trees.]

I'll go ahead and be the first one to say that I wish that the price of gas was that much today. On the topic of money, last weekend I found to my surprise a Canadian dime at work. I was surprised to find one all the way on the other side of the country from the border. I checked the exchange rate and a 10 Canadian cents is about 8 American cents, which made me wonder Is this made completely out of silver? If it is, then perhaps maybe this coin would be worth more than face value. So is it made completely out of silver, silver-plated, made out of nickel, or is it just worth 10 Canadian cents/8 American cents?

That gas price sign looks great Deane. I'm sure it will get used a lot. Your efforts are appreciated.

Nice to see one of your terrific screen shots here trainman7616.

Cheers, Jack

The gas price sign looks great in-game Deane! Thank you very much! I have yet to try it in winter mode.

Nice one WCRULEZ.

Here's a shot on the Wilkie Sub. Deane's sign looks right at home.
Cheers, Jack

Hi Folks;
I've been enjoying all the pictures posted here. They are all really good.
I hope not too many of you mind, I only have one for today in this thread. I've added a connector from Brodie to Merritt and on to Spence's bridge. Many pictures in the "Kettle Valley" thread.

Here is my shot for today. A shot North of Merritt - 30 Kms ? . I'm found an interesting thing one can do with "Water" (the Trainz kind) It can be made to fill a river and have different water heights along the way. Probably only of interest to those of us who create layouts with prototypical elevations.
But here, and there isn't any water, a farm:

Thanks &
Cheers,

I've got to play around with the water in Tane as there are some meandering streams on my route that would benefit from it. I had forgotten that the water could have different heights. Thanks for the reminder Michael.

This is Zelma Reservoir. You'll find walleye, pike and perch here. If there are any other species of fish, I don't know about them.
Cheers, Jack

Nice screen shots Erik and great job on that HBR unit! I've seen them on the odd occasion here in Saskatoon. A lot of nice detailing in these shots.

Pierre, you must be busy working on your route. Hope to see some new shots in your thread soon!

This one is at the same mileage as my last shot. The train is eastbound.
Cheers, Jack
