Cowans crane mystery

I thought I'd take a look at the Cowans steam breakdown crane (kuid2:75810:15001:1) with a view to doing a bit of weathering. However, the mesh as it appears in AssetX (and CCP) seems to have 'lost' all of the detailed superstructure of the crane. Here's how it looks in game:



And here's how the mesh appears in AssetX:



There's no sign of another mesh, apart from the shadow, in the folder. Nor does the config suggest another mesh is being referenced. So where has the crane superstructure gone? What's going on?

The whole asset is made up from these KUID's to make the crane:



The asset you're showing is just one part of the whole structure.

The crane part is setup as a bogie so the end stays over the match truck on corners. I can't recall which bogie it is though.

That's it! cowansp1bo, kuid:75810:15003, contains the crane superstructure. I would never have thought of the bogie containing the crane. Many thanks for your insight.
