What does the Trainz Community listen to?

For me it's Classical, Baroque and Romantic period music - Mozart, Scarlatti, JS Bach, CPE Bach, JFC Bach, JC Bach, Chopin, Beethoven, Schubert, Mendelsohn, Debussy, and lately Rachmaninov. This is mostly the stuff I'm working on at the piano, clavichord, and harpsichord and not while I'm using Trainz because I find myself listening critically to the music instead of working on my route.

John

What? No Rameau? Blandine Rannou...

I usually listen to the real train sound effects on the RR which runs @ 500' away (from my igloo on the Antarctican RR). http://i525.photobucket.com/albums/cc339/cascaderailroad/2-6-6-6-6Winter.jpg

I should wear earphone noise protection headphones (as the little lady watchs all kinds of horridly violent TV shows in the background, and she regulary screams outloud in terror every minute or so) ... startling me out of my wits, making me jump in my chair ... so much for my safe & sane train simulator solitude.

That's presumably because you're well below the age where the brain has fully developed ;)

I prefer the makers of music that I listen to to have talent.

Hate to say this to you so long after the upset: but electronic is instrumental. Try it and see for yourself. And listen to some Milky Disco or Subtractive.

Love music, but don't listen to anything at all while trainzing: just let my mind run on, running on rails...

At least I know now the company I'm keeping. Nice.

Another day, another night, another place, another time... I genuinely cannot stop listening to this one. Freestylers & Pendulum can do no wrong together!

placebo. govt mule. miles davis, grateful dead, prince, bbking, can, snarky puppy , dylan, tv on the radio, crazy horse, monster magnet, ministry, joni mitchell , jeff beck, king gizzard, the clash , primus ,massive attack , dub , p funk .....whatever happens to be on my hard drives

I've been listening to Jpop (mostly Vocaloids) even though I'm an American. I sometimes watch MMD & update on new models from model railroad companies.

I don't listen to music while playing Trainz. Most of the time I watch all the lag and low FPS,and listen to the train horns/whistles...

But for music,well... all I can say is very, very mixed. There is some electronic music (More 70's/80's type.),mostly classic rock, and a bit of classic country (Only classic for the most part, since the modern "Country" music is mostly terrible, and the modern "Country" songs are only about three things that shouldn't be hard to name.),very, very, very little modern music (Only the ones that are reasonable, most of the modern music is,well... crap.),and a small amount of disco to. There's also a few soundtracks.

I mostly listening to ... As I am being totally bombarded by the same identical annoying Target and Kohl's department store Christmas commercials, repeating every 6 minutes, and receiving 45 never ending SPAM cell phone calls per day, from people I don't even know who they are ... It's driving me completely up a wall

"Can you hear me" ? "Are you there" ? "There is no problem with your bank account and credit card" ... "But I'm going door to door offering you this once in a lifetime deal" ... BLAH
