Current work on the NJT Central Harbor Line. I've been busy working at the large port are in the fittingly named town of Buena Harbor.

I know it is mostly grid and almost no scenery (soon to change in the coming months) but wanted to show off a bit of my Cowlitz Valley Railway Route.
Richland, WA Hump Yard.

I like that town on a river in Amazon's Show 'Peripheral' ....so I stole it!
I named the town Riley Ridge using my Daughters name. That's the Messabi River the town overlooks. All this in the mythical State of Appalacia.

Thank you Forester, I think that town on the show is Marshal North Carolina. But I only see the town in the opening credits, have not found a photo online of the river and town like the show has yet.
Progress on project Sweet Carolina has been slow but steady. With the other part of the team picking up to his speed, we have been busy little bees so pardon our dust! The route is based off the lines between Spartanburg and Ashville in 1938. For these shots we have Pollock yard outside of Pleasantsville. And a shot of a freight outside Sugarton mills.
Ian, great shots. I really like all those power lines in your first photo. Have not seen anyone else do that, might have to steal that from you!
Here we have some action from Gwinville, Appalachia. (Named after my Daughter in Law, my kids like having towns and cities named after them!)
1. Heavy Southern Frieght coming over the Messabi River.
2. Amtrak just after a stop at Gwinville Station is now southbound with heavy weather rolling into the Messabi Valley.
3. Old locamotive switching industry across the river from downtown Gwinville while a contractor works on a oil tank at Gwinville Heavymetal Inc.

Its been awhile since I last posted here so enjoy some screenshots from my recently completed area that took forever (I took a break which felt good and real life just had to get in the way most of the times
