Bluebell Railway northern extention to East Grinstead opened

Rather surprised that no-one has mention this before.

On the 23rd of March the first public service between East Grinstead and Sheffield Park for over half a centuary ran in quite surprising weather. Having supported the project over the years, I popped down to the Bluebell and while travelling down the line stopped at Horsted Keynes for a tour of the wagon and carriage restoration facilities.

cool!! Gotta love British Preserved railways...whilst here in the states, we can barely keep our fires burning, You're extending lines and building long-scrapped loco types from scratch! Plus it Doesn't hurt that my favorite Terrier Tank Engine lives on the Bluebell line...:Y:
 
That's awesome! I wish they'd do something like that over hear. Sawyer is right. We can barely keep what we have going.
