I've been using Trainz since 2003 so I have a grasp of moving the view about, I just didn't know about holding CTRL.
Most of the examples posted are at distance. If you were to zoom in I don't...
Sorry I've tried this and it changes nothing about where the centre of the camera is. It's fixed to the top of the rolling stock. Try zooming in with CTRL held, you'll see it focus on the top of the...
Wait...what?!
I did not know you could do this... Shame Trainz has decided to do a database repair so I can't check it for some time. If this is right then my thread means nothing and N3V need to...
For years and years I have struggled to figure out why Trainz often looks less realistic than the other sims. With Trainz 2019, the lighting and other graphical additions do really give a sense of...
I get a popup box when approaching an entry signal where I can select a path, not sure why you guys don't?
I'm not 100% without checking, it's an old route I made nearly 10 years ago which is getting it's second upgrade, I had to replace all the old Pofig speedtreez with TRS19 ones. I believe they are by...
Yeah this bothers me, I have a mixture of rusty and clean rails on my route and when they meet for an old siding or catch points it is rather irritating.
The problem is if you use another...
It's not overly important, I just wanted to put a miniature railway on a route of mine, 2ft and the stock feels too big.
Wanted something akin to a ride on railway you'd find at a railway museum...
Sorry guys... It's been a while!!

Hi John!
I believe you have them over there, maybe set up a little differently, although i'm struggling to find many examples. You appear to have derailers which stop slow moving wagons or stock,...
Hey guys.
I like putting catch points in realistic locations on my routes, at the end of sidings or loops, just incase of runaway trains. It also helps with interlocking towers as you can have two...
For me, i've always loved the idea of an automated layout/route where you can just watch the trains but also can grab a train and do your own thing without it totally screwing up what the AI is...
If automation of AI is your thing you can go really really deep with all the different rules and commands available. I'd start with Enhanced interlocking towers first, basically they work like signal...
I'm after some 15inch narrow gauge stock for a route but my DLS searches have all failed!
Any ideas?
David
Is that something an end user can do?
I noticed it appears ok with the anti aliasing up full, but I don't think I can afford the performance hit.
All of them as far as I can see. It must be because they're old assets and haven't been touched as the old free version 'Black Prince' from the DLS has the same issue.
Not sure about the other...
Bit mad when you decide you're enjoying trainz 19 and want to support the company buying a pack you already had for TS19 then realise it's worse in this version...
What is this about? ...
In real life it depends on route knowledge. For the most part when I am about 200m from a double yellow I will start braking, although really light. Just to get the train under control.
For single...
I wish it had a tab system so all the windows were kept in the main window and not all over my desktop. That's something I liked about the old versions.
They show as built in on trainz 12 but not available for TANE OR 19.
So I have no idea where they came from if they weren't with s&c, they are by the same creators.
Ah that's a shame :(
Guess I can't get the route over without replacing them.
Hi guys
I am trying to move an old route over from Trainz 12 to Trainz 19. A few of the dependencies are from S&C and I don't own that for TANE/TS19, however some assets used are from the S&C team...
I'd consider this a bug.
I'm using "change train direction". What indicates it's a bug is the fact if you click on another driver on another train and then select your previous driver the commands...
Sorry if this is already in discussion, if so please point me to it I'm in a little rush here:)
On my semi automated layout I have trains with multiple engines. If during their commands they...
Goodbye Chuck! :(
I remember CeeBee being around in the early days of Trainz when I was a young teenager. Of course the impact of Highland valley is undeniable and a layout I used many a time.
